The one about the Pavlova

PavlovaTracey and I planned to have a special family meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary and when we mentioned this to our children, our son Stephen offered to cook for us.

Stephen worked rally hard and the food was delicious :). He even made a Pavlova which certainly isn’t the most straightforward dessert you could make. It took real time and effort to produce and serve this meal, but Stephen was kind enough to do it.

For Tracey and I, the meal made our day really special.

So,

How can you bless someone today?

How can you show someone they are loved and appreciated?

How can you encourage someone?

Sometimes these things take time and effort, but other times it can be so easy to make a difference.

The Bible tells us to love one another, but love has to be about more that just how we feel or what we say, right?

About honestaboutmyfaith

Hi, my name is Graeme and I’m married to a very patient wife. We have 4 children, 2 rabbits, a terrapin (and not a lot of peace and quiet!). I’m a Regional Minister for the Eastern Baptist Association in the UK (the views expressed in this blog are my own) and I am especially interested in making Church accessible to people who have no church background and also in how we disciple people in order to equip them to live out their faith in the 21st Century.
