He’s On Every Page Even If You Can’t See Him

Wally (or Waldo to our American & Canadian friends) wears bright clothing with red and white stripes but he can still be very hard to spot on the page of a ‘Where’s Wally’ book.

where's wallyTry this beach picture, can you find him in it? He really is there, try clicking on the picture to enlarge it and see if that helps. (The answer is below if you get stuck).

I’m hopeless at spotting Wally, but he is on every page and present in every picture whether I can see him or not.

God too is present in every situation whether I can see him or not.

Life is so full and busy that it is easy to lose sight of God, but he is still present and at work in every situation. Sometimes we have to look hard to see what God is doing and sometimes we just can’t see what it is no matter how hard we try to. In these moments we need to trust in God and we should keep calling on and trusting in him.

God is present and God is at work. I hope that we can make it a priority to look to him and what he is doing in order that we can join in with him.

In case you couldn’t spot him, Wally’s head is sticking up above the red and white beach umbrella which is just to the right of the center of the picture.

About honestaboutmyfaith

Hi, my name is Graeme and I’m married to a very patient wife. We have 4 children, 2 rabbits, a terrapin (and not a lot of peace and quiet!). I’m a Regional Minister for the Eastern Baptist Association in the UK (the views expressed in this blog are my own) and I am especially interested in making Church accessible to people who have no church background and also in how we disciple people in order to equip them to live out their faith in the 21st Century.
