When God is doing a new thing we need to stop trying to plug the holes in the old thing.
We can be so busy holding together the way that we want to do things that we can miss entirely what God is doing.
Churches can be especially guilty of trying to maintain what they have always done rather than being open to any new thing that God might be doing.
How sad is that?
So, if God says he is doing a new thing, will we let go of what we are doing and join him in a brand new adventure?
I hope that if we call ourselves followers of Jesus that we would say yes without hesitation and that we would be willing to make the sacrifices involved. If we are unable to say yes, then are we still followers of Jesus or not?
Remember,
When God is doing a new thing we need to stop trying to plug the holes in the old thing.
