The Piece of Christ is You!

1 Corinthians 12.27 - the body of Christ So, I went to a communion service last night and we were encouraged to say to one another,

‘The Piece of Christ is you’

To which the other person responded

‘And also is you’

We had just been reminded that we are the Body of Christ and the words we were asked to say were a clever play on the traditional words ‘The peace of the Lord be with you’, ‘and also with you’.

It was a profound moment being reminded that we are all a part of Christ and his body at work throughout the world today.

Think it through, let it sink in and it will change your life.

Christians shouldn’t be just random people doing their own thing. We are a part of the Body of Christ!
