Honest about my faith

change - who want itIt’s new years eve and we are all partying, right! Actually, I’m not. I’m sitting outside my daughters bedroom door reminding them that they should be asleep. I thought I would pass the time between shh’s by writing a few words about this cartoon I came across earlier today.

The picture is so helpful and challenging at the same time. We all want the world to be a better place but do we want the change that this requires in our own lives?

It’s a bit like the joke about the mother who was praying for her son to become a Christian. She cried out to God, ‘Lord, please take away anything that is stopping him from following you’. There was a puff of smoke and when it had disappeared the mum was not there anymore.
