So, did you hear about the banned #justpray advert? The major cinema chains have refused to show it and whilst their decision may be disappointing, I think that it is one of the best things that could have happened for the justpray campaign.
You see, a lot of people will go to see Star Wars (the film that the Church of England wanted to show the advert before) but a lot more will have picked up this story on the internet and in the news. So many more people have heard about the justpray campaign and website because of the decision not to show the ad.
Instead of getting upset, we should give thanks to God for the way that he has used this situation for his glory.
Prayer is something that is so simple, it is a conversation between people and God. If you want to think about this or explore the purpose of the Lord’s prayer (the prayer that is prayed in the advert) then you may find It’s Good to Pray helpful.
If somehow you haven’t seen the advert, then here it is and you can also visit the justpray website
