The One Where Facebook Was Down

facebook downSo Facebook was down for around an hour this evening.

What did you do with yourself?

Did you run outside in the street and start telling random people what you had for tea?

Perhaps you went to find some people to show them your holiday pictures?

Did you feel lost without facebook access?

Lots of people depend on it and some people are addicted to it and the reality is that a lot of us noticed that it wasn’t working even though it was only down for around an hour. Ironically, this huge news ‘that facebook was down’ was something we couldn’t share with our Facebook friends.

If you don’t access/talk to/acknowledge God for an hour do you notice? How does it affect the way you live?

We have permanent access to God but do we make use of that access and talk with him?

About honestaboutmyfaith

Hi, my name is Graeme and I’m married to a very patient wife. We have 4 children, 2 rabbits, a terrapin (and not a lot of peace and quiet!). I’m a Regional Minister for the Eastern Baptist Association in the UK (the views expressed in this blog are my own) and I am especially interested in making Church accessible to people who have no church background and also in how we disciple people in order to equip them to live out their faith in the 21st Century.
